Crosstrek

Small but mighty. ♡

Compact enough to make everyday life easy, but still very much a Subaru when the pavement ends. Here's the Crosstrek without the brochure-speak.

AWD Standard
5 Seats
8.7–9.3" Ground clearance*
3,500 lb Max towing*

So... what's the Crosstrek actually like?

Think easy-to-park compact SUV with real Subaru capability, useful cargo space and enough ground clearance to make weekend plans more interesting.

The Crosstrek is the smallest traditional SUV in Subaru's gas lineup, which is exactly why so many people like it. It gives you standard all-wheel drive and useful ground clearance without feeling oversized around town.

For 2026, every gas Crosstrek gets the 180-horsepower 2.5-liter BOXER engine. There are also two hybrid trims with 194 combined horsepower if you want better fuel economy without giving up standard AWD.

If your plans lean farther off the pavement, the Wilderness raises ground clearance to 9.3 inches and increases maximum towing capacity to 3,500 pounds.
