So... what's the Solterra actually like?

Think everyday electric SUV, but with standard Subaru AWD and enough clearance to still feel like a Subaru.

The Solterra is Subaru's all-electric five-seat SUV. For 2026, it gets the updates people were waiting for: substantially more range, faster charging, a NACS charging port, and more power.

Premium and Limited use a 233-horsepower dual-motor electric drivetrain. The new XT versions step that up to 338 horsepower while keeping standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.

It also keeps 8.3 inches of ground clearance, dual-function X-MODE with Grip Control, and a useful SUV shape — so going electric doesn't mean giving up the Subaru personality.
